5 Indoor Activities To Keep The Blues Away This Rainy Season

July 11, 2017 7:00 pm by Bettina Bacani

The season for having fun under the sun may be over, but guess what – the fun doesn’t have to stop when it is raining! Sure, we often relate the word “fun” with being outdoors, swimming, and all that stuff, but nowadays, there’s so much to do and so much fun you can have, even indoors! Don’t believe me? Here’s a list of five indoor activities you can do in the metro!

1. Paint at Sip and Gogh

Whether you are an aspiring Van Gogh or have never painted before, Sip and Gogh will help you uncork your creative side. You can join their Family Fun Day (for all ages), Date2Create (for couples), Bring-Your-Own-Bottle (for ages 18+), Art for a Cause (fundraising events), and Open Sessions (for ages 16+). Don’t worry if you don’t have any prior experience on painting because they have instructors who will guide you step-by-step in creating your own masterpiece that you can take home at the end of every session. They have everything you need – from canvas, paints, brushes, palette, easel, and apron. Sip and Gogh also offers private workshop parties for a minimum of 15 pax.

2. Get Physical at Climb Central

With approximately 750 square meters of climbing wall space, Climb Central Manila is the biggest indoor air-conditioned sports climbing venue in the Philippines! Here, they show us that climbing is for everyone – kids as young as 5 years old can already participate (provided they reach the minimum height and weight requirements). Introductory sessions are available for P725 per person, but soon, they will also have developmental classes which can help your child learn the ABCs of climbing (Agility, Balance, and Coordination) and you, with different techniques that will help improve your climbing skills!
